SSI Schäfer, in its capacity as general contractor, installed and equipped a new high bay warehouse for Europe´s largest manufacturer of laminate floor boards.

In addition to the coordination of the structural work, the order included steel structure, pallet conveyor system, and control system as well as the installation and integration of five storage and retrieval machines.

With the warehouse management software "ant", SSI Schäfer also provided the IT basis for continuous transparency and the smooth control and visualization of all operative processes between production and retrieval areas.

Result of the new high bay warehouse is a significant reduction of reaction times and an increase in the delivery quality of Kronotex - competiticve advantages thanks to storage automation.
